Compensation
Every job at the Hospital is assigned to a pay range with minimum and maximum salary levels that define what the Medical Center pays for the job. The pay ranges are periodically updated to reflect market trends for comparable jobs. Although we do not post salary ranges, our market analysis ensures that the salaries paid are fair and competitive. Within each pay range, there is flexibility to compensate employees competitively and equitably.

Special Pay Programs
In addition to standard compensation, Stanford Health Cre offers various incentive and special pay programs for eligible team members. Depending on your deparment and position, you may qualify for:
  • Annual Incentive Bonus Plans
  • Shift Differential Pay

  • On-Call Pay
  • Call-Back Pay
  • Relief-in-Higher-Classification (RHC)

Time Off
Our generous time-off program ensures our employees get the rest and relaxation they need.  Stanfor Health Care's Time Off program includes Paide Time Off, Jury Duty, Extended Sick Leave, Bereavement Leave, etc.

The Paid Time Off (PTO) program combines all time off into a single pool that can be accessed by the employee for vacation, holidays, illness, family emergencies, religious observances and other excused absences, including absences protected under the law.

      We created this special program to meet your educational needs and promote the highest quality in patient care by providing state-of-the-art professional development programs for the healthcare community.  The SCEPD has also been accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Commission on Accrediation.

      STANFORD HEALTH CARE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

      ​​​​​​Established to foster growth, development, and success of our organization's leaders, this six-month program is open to all employees at the management level and above and features a mix of theoretical components and hans-on training by senior executives and renowned experts from inside and outside our facility.       Employee Testimonal

      Nadine began as a nurse in oncology, but eventually transitioned to a specialty in vascular access. "I became very involved in vascular access. It is such an essential tool for patient care and medication delivery, and the efforts to improve outcomes were quickly growing."  Thirty years later, Nadine continues to devote energy and brainpower to improving this field.
