The Hospitality Services Team, is comprised of 7 service departments within the FSP division, has daily interactions with patients, staff, and visitors creating significant opportunities for enhancing the patient & employee experience. Patient interactions start upon admission with Patient Transport, continue through the length of stay with the delivery of nutritious meals by Food Services and regular room cleaning provided by Environmental Services (EVS). Due to multiple points of contact with patients, Patient Satisfaction is an ongoing top priority for Hospitality leaders.

Food Services
The Stanford Hospital Food Services Department is devoted to offering patients, visitors, and staff a premium dining experience. We proudly serve locally sourced seasonal produce, antibiotic and hormone-free meats, cage-free eggs, and sustainable seafood. Our ongoing food transformation journey improves consumer satisfaction and brings awareness to the critical link between eating healthy and living well. 

Our talented team of culinary and foodservice professionals creates a unique dining environment to ensure a patient and guest-centered experience across multiple locations.

Environmental Services
The Environmental Services Department is responsible for general aesthetics and cleaning of all areas, supports the patient units, discharge bed flow needs, interventional platforms, infection prevention programs, as well as all waste streams.

Patient Transport
The Patient Transport Department is dedicated to providing Stanford Health Care quality service, patient safety, and an excellent experience with every patient interaction. Patient Transporters are active throughout the hospital, both 300P and 500P, transfers to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and the Cancer Center.

The Transport team has one hundred dedicated employees committed to safeguarding a secure patient transfer whether it be:
